Los Angeles, California, July 5, 2007 - According to the Chief of Police, Bryan
Norwood, the woman was the mother of one of the three children inside the van. She
had gotten out of the vehicle but noticed that it started rolling down the hill. She
jumped back in after she caught up with it before the vehicle was thrown into the
water.

The vehicle rolled about 70 yards into the Beardsley Park Bunnell's Pond wherein
many people are gathered to celebrate the Fourth of July holidays.

The vehicle submerged in about 20 feet of water and the victims became trapped
inside it for almost 25 minutes before the scuba team of the Bridgeport's police
force managed to pull them out. Before being taken into the local hospitals,
rescuers attempted to resuscitate them.

According to Ismael Pomales, Chief of the Bridgeport's Fire Battalion, it was
apparent that the woman got out of her vehicle in order to inquire for directions in
setting up a barbecue celebration. Pomales further enunciated that it was tough for
their rescue team to deal with children being killed.

The names of the victims were not immediately disclosed to the media since the
officials were trying to notify their relatives.

Officials declared that the three children inside the van were all under the age of
seven. John Cappiello, spokesperson for the Bridgeport Hospital confirmed the death
of the two children, a two-year-old boy, son of the woman and a three-year-old girl,
sent to them right after the rescue incident. The third child, a 6-year-old, was
sent to the Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was listed earlier to be in critical
condition. However, news of his death was reported today.

The woman, identified as Michelle MacIntosh who was taken to the St. Vincent\'s
Medical Center also died.

The authorities thereby declared the lack of survivors in the said accident.

McIntosh and the people nearby have tried in vain to stop the rolling van. While the
vehicle was submerged in the pond, the fire personnel could not reach the people
inside it. It took the Bridgeport police\'s scuba team to be able to remove the
victims from inside the van.
